Blood sugar reading after drinking: 244
This reading was about an hour after I finished my ice vanilla latte.
I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but DAYYYUMMMM. My friend, who I drank this coffee with, informed me that lattes are mostly milk. Of course, I had no idea. Even if i had, what the hell kind of milk are they using??
I assumed the huge sugar spike was from the vanilla.
F— it. It doesn’t really matter. Vanilla latte = BAD!

One hour is too quick. You should check after 2 hours. Even healthy person need 2 hours to lower glucose.
Hi Tony! The reason I wait one hour (as opposed to two) is because I want to know how much the blood sugar is going UP, not how much it’s coming back down. My method may not be perfect, but it’s my way of approximating the effect that various foods have on me.
